"Home was a condo on the fifteenth floor of a filing cabinet for widows and young professionals. The walls were solid concrete. A foot of concrete is important when your next-door neighbor lets their hearing aid go and have to watch game-shows at full volume. Or when a volcanic blast of debris that used to be your furniture and personal effects blows out of your floor-to-ceiling windows and sails flaming into the night.
I suppose these things happen."
I love. This. Movie.
And I had to watch it today, with our stereo system and whatnot, because I had no classes today and therefore had to fully take advantage of my time.
I love it. So much. Augh.
( The book, too, of course. )
I stopped by Borders today to inquire about my application. The girl at customer service gave me the general manager's card with his number, and told me that she thinks they're hiring. YES. Man, I hope so. Every day I go to work at my office makes me want to just walk out and never come back. I can hardly stand it anymore.
Lost is finally on again next week...!
