I feel so gross.
Sep. 7th, 2004 06:19 pmErraagghh.
Evangelia and I went to Einstein Bagels for breakfast this morning, and, oh, it was so good. I have so much love.
At first it didn't look like I would go into work today because their power was only partially on, but they had a few things for Evangelia and I to do, so we went. I was wearing long jeans and a nice shirt, right? So we get there and the air isn't on, of course. How stupid am I.
So for most of the day it was only Evangelia and I and one of my bosses and another higher-up. We were given the assignment of doing something that we've never done before. Faxing things this way and that, copying, sorting, and there are so many piles and papers it was almost too easy to get confused. Which we didn't, fortunately, but still.
Stuck in an office that's 95 degrees (with jeans), drenched in sweat, doing something you've never done before, having the fax machine fart out on us what seemed like hundreds of times because it was too humid for it to work correctly, and having a guy keep calling and bitching to us because we weren't doing it exactly right doesn't leave you in the best of spirits, I tell you. By the end of the day, Evangelia and I were near in hysterics. No, wait, we were. We kept laughing almost til we cried everytime the fax machine got jammed.
I hate to say it, but now I know what my parents feel like probably. And then coming home and doing everything here.
I'd better get extra pay for today. :\

Oh yeah. And Evangelia burned me the Maroon 5 CD. I like it so far.
