I saw Garden State with just Jimmy. Mother. I'm in love. I love Zack Braff. Go see it. If you know what's good for you. Plus, any movie that plays The Postal Service is awesome in my book.

Also: I'm an ass. I was pulling out of my parking space but didn't check behind me because I was trying to get ahold of my mom to tell her I was coming home. There were people behind me. I came pretty close to hitting them. Stupid. Utterly. Makes me want to hurt myself for every stupid mistake I make. Bluh.

The movie - and, well, I guess that little incident - gave me a nice little blow of reality to the head.
Adventure...s!!

Erin and I met Mich and Jimmy at the Salvation army around 11:00 this morning. Ahaha. There's more crap than good stuff in there, BUT! We found a Rockem' Sockem' Robots!! In really good condition! For $4! Dude! So we bought it. Yay.

Then we went to this other thrift store and Mich found this really old book from a French writer. Jimmy found some incredibly cheap Playstation 2 games, and I found Dynamic HTML for Dummies for only $1. :D:D:D

Went to downtown Dunedin after lunch, because I remembered this Scottish/British place that's down there (Dunedin is a Scottish name, after all :p). So we went. Inside, Erin was looking at these British candy bars and whatnot, picking them up to read the back, and the lady who was behind the counter was like, "Um, don't touch those. Someone might buy them." We were all "Wtf?" but did so. Then Jimmy was looking at a book about Scotland or something, and she comes up to him and goes, "Don't touch that. You're not going to buy it anyway." What the bloody heck?! It's not like he was throwing it around, he was just flipping through it a little! Bah.

HOWEVER! They had food in there, and what did I see, but some Irn Bru! I totally thought of [livejournal.com profile] strawberryelfsp and bought eeeet. It's so good! I could really get addicted to that stuff. Maybe not for $2.50 a bottle though. Heh. Woot!

As for the weather, eh. It's pretty cloudy and windy here, but Hurricane Frances hasn't really reached us yet. Probably within the two or three hours. Hopefully the power won't go out. Doubt it will, but still.

I really want to go down to the beach. \o/
