Oy vey. My computer is shot to hell... aaaagain. A lot of files were corrupted so my dad's friend just told us to f-disk the computer. For the second time. Ahahah. Lessons learned: Even though downloading is teh shizzy frizzy, Kazaa is NOT cool and will eventually destroy... stuff. Also, AIM is PURE FREAKING EVIL and will never be on my computer again unless I feel like putting on ok. It kills everything and makes everything run slow boo hiss.
However, when trying to run the Windows 98 CD (Yes! I still have Windows 98! WinXP can bite me!) and going to set stuff up, it went all spaztic on me so now I have no idea what the freaking heck I'm doing. I'm not that computer literateyet. Therefore, it can be put under the pile of SEP; Someone Else's Problem. More then likely Al's. Heh.
Fortunately I'm a smarty pants so I moved all pertinate files, i.e. mass quantities of pictures, icons, mp3's, and my Photoshop 7 worth $700 that I downloaded off of the said Kazaa my precious my love and the like over to this computer. So once my computer starts behaving I can move everything over like it was before and be yay happy.
In other news, I am still slightly nervous. It will pass, I'm sure.
Today... well, technically yesterday... the sixth, okay whatever, was Haley's birthday. It struck me that 3 years ago today was when things really started changing. I remember for Haley's birthday we (me, Haley, Tyler, Teal, etc.) all went and saw A Knight's Tale at the theater and then later that night went laser tagging. I hadn't really ever done stuff like that with friends... maybe ever. I felt accepted and loved. That night was one of the greatest nights ever. I have it written down (in pen!) in an old journal. I should look at that again.
Bed.
