Um, hi.

I'm back. Finally.

I had a fantastic time. This vacation was very very very much needed. However, prolonging the 2093480283402 things I have to do does not comfort me much. Blarg.

So on with it. Here's a lengthy bit of what happened this past week. Hoorah.

Day One: And so it was that the Fellowship Family left Rivendell Tampa...

Woke up at 4:00 in the morning. Got going and droveanddroveanddrove until 9 hours later, we reached Woodstock, Georgia. This year we got to stay at Uncle Phil and Aunt Joyce's house. Lovely, lovely place. Especially now since they fixed everything from the fire. They have three new outdoor cats now since Miles died in the fire: Lion, Lucky, and Zelda. I loved Zelda. Gah. I wanted to take her home... she was utterly adorable.

The boys are, well, um... the boys. It's hard for me to believe that Sam is already in fifth grade and ever harder that Jacob is in second. Crazy. Jacob will just. not. stop. That kid has so much energy... I didn't think it was possible to have that much. I would think that he would explode or something... but yeah.

Day Two: 'Ware the shopping centers; they will take your soul. Or good attitude, whichever.

Erin, my mom, and I met up with Aunt Sally at her house and then went down to the mall. Before that, however, at their house, she gave Erin and I our birthday presents. Dolls, of course, heh. The porcelain ones. A noice, shoiny collection we'll have when we're older.

So, yeah, the mall. Mum bought me these earrings and a ring with a gorgeous lavander stone, which she's going to give me for Christmas, heh. Had a gyro for lunch. Alksjdlfkjs. Yum. Aunt Sally then had to leave because they were actually on their way down to Florida the next day. We then headed over to Target and Ross, in which my bad mood took over. I hate shopping for clothes. I really do. It doesn't make me feel all happy happy joy joy inside to remind myself how fat I am, thanks. Alas. I did end up buying comfy swishy pants (you know... those pants that... swish?) to placate my Mum, more than anythings. *Rolls eyes*

Day Three: Dear God, I used to be in shape.

Okay, well, I guess I still am, just not as much as before. I blame it on all the friggen' school work I have to do! Yarr.

We went to Kennessaw Mountain and did a hike. Fun times. A little hot. Very pretty.

Day Four: Ohmigaw, this just might be my future. *Frantic*

Drove for about three hours up to Dalton, Tennessee to visit Bryan College.

Wow.

It was gorgeous. What a beautiful place. It's right on the lower side of a mountain so it overlooks a lot of town and other mountains around. It was really cold there, even for November. But, they do get an occasional snow flurry up there, so, hey, another inscentive to go, eh? :)

The girl who showed us around was really nice. Turns out, she knew my Spanish teacher, the one who recommended the college to me. The classes are small, which is lovely, seeing as how I'm used to that anyway. We went into the American Civil War class and it only had about 15 people in it. The dorm rooms are two to a person, and kinda small, but that's okay. It's not newly renovated or in tip-top shape either, but still, I don't mind. You're allowed to decorate as much as you'd like. Heh. Heh heh heh. Oh, the wonders of what I would put on my walls. C'mere, Dommeh and Billeh. *Makes gimme hands*

It's a nice place, really. Still... $17,000 is steep, man. I need to get a ton of scholarships if I go there. If I go anywhere, for that matter. Grades aren't a problem at all. You need a 2.5 and an 850 on SAT's. I have a 3.22 (without the weighted courses I'll be taking this year and next) and when I took the SAT for Test Prep I got a 1085, and that's a lot harder than the real SATs.

I liked it. :)

Day Five: Omgthisisjustlikenewyorkexceptsmaller! And hooray for Mum!

We went to downtown Atlanta. Rode the Marta around for a long while and finally got off at a place and just ate, ahahah. We went and walked around the huge buildings which was fun. I kept telling myself that in less than two years I'd be in New York; exactly like Atlanta but so much bigger. Yee. I'm excited.

On the way home on the Marta, I got on and there weren't many places to sit, so we were just standing up. On the next stop a black guy got on and he was selling socks. We were right next to each other and I think he said something to me a few times but I could understand him right off, ahahah. I just smiled. AHAHA. So I hope not, but I think he repeted it one more time. It went like this.

Him: "Are you a model? You gonna model for us?" [I had my hand on the pole and was leaning a bit, so, heh.]
Me: (Laughing) "Yeah, sure, I'm a model."
Him: "Aw, well, you pretty. You could model, you know."
Me: "Heh, well, thank you."
Him: "You like ice cream?"
Me: "Uhm, yeah, sure."
Him: (Smiling/jest) "You know, there's an ice cream shop right by my house and a pretty little spot where it is good to model. You should come by."
Me: (Laughing) "I should, shouldn't I."
Him: You don't forget me, you hear?" (Winks)
Me: (Smiling) Oh, I won't.
(He walks off)

Heh. Funnay. :D

Came home, and had a little party for Mum. It was her 49th birthday. As I was talking to her later that night, she was telling me that even though she's getting older, she should be awfully thankful that she's even having another birthday. It almost made me cry a bit. How true. I mean, it was just this time last year that she was having the mammogram done... and then all that crap to follow. Sigh.

Day Six: The day that wasn't meant to be.

We got an early start so we could travel to Ellijay to look at our property, Helen to get some Dutch stuff, an go to an outlet mall that we've been to once before.

Well.

Near almost to Helen we hear this bang. Dad gets out to look. Hooray, we have a flat tire! Yarr. It takes us over an hour to get that fixed. Finally on the road again, a little past noon, we just try to make it to Helen [Helen is a Americanly commercialized Dutch town. We were going to try to get to this store that sells fantastic Dutch stuff... Rusk, De Ruijter (I think that's how it's spelled) and a whole bunch of stuff.]. Turns out, we don't get lost but terribly confused on the crappy road system. We drove around for almost 4 hours and gave up. There were so many twists and turns in the road, gahhh I WANTED TO SCREAM AND THEN VOMIT. My Lord. That was the most grueling driving woteva I've ever gone through. I think I exerted more patience than I ever have, ahaha.

We finally made it to the outlet mall (Deborah, the one where you stalked that guy, ahahah!). Lovely place! I bought a book which made me terribly excited. It's The More Than Complete Hitchhiker's Guide by Douglas Adams. It's got Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and Restaurant at the End of the Universe and a few others in it. I've been wanting to read those for a long time, so, hooray! And, the best thing is, is that it was only $5! The inside flap says it should be sold for $51.80! Chyah! *Glee*

Day Seven: Thanksgiving

Alkajsdlfkjalskjdf. FOOD. Turkey, cranberry apple tart, real mashed taters with excellent gravy, green bean casserole, fresh baked bread and a lot more. Good good stuff, man. Um. I am so in need of a diet after this vacation. Yarr.

Day Eight: Never ever ever ever ever again.

Wow. I feel incredibly stupid. Ahaha. We got up at 4 am today to get an early start and because we wanted to drop by Best Buy to pick up a few thins that we thought were great deals.

Um, yeah. By the time we found the place, it was so packed. We got what we wanted and waited in line for nearly two hours. Bloody hell! That was insane. But, hey, me and Erin are now getting a cell phone (each) for Christmas and we got a 100 stack of recordable CD's. And saved $85. Yuh.

While walking through the store I went to the CD's. Unbeknownst to me, the Return of the King soundtrack came out. I saw it, and my eyes bulged and my jaw dropped, ahaha. BUH. I WANT IT. But I can't. Not yet. I'm getting it for Dad for Christmas. I don't want to listen to it before I see the movie anyway. I'm resisting. BuuutomgBilleeeee. I want to hear it! Geh.

So yeah. Finally came home and finished my Bible assignment. Tomorrow I work on my History paper all day (Sunday as well) and as a reward (heh) I'm going out and buying the Premiere magazine (which they had BETTER FECKING HAVE or someone is going to die) and then coming home and finally, finally watching the EE of TTT. Can. Not. Wait. :D

Um. Oh God. *Wibble*

GAHHH. Ahh! (Spoiler) Feck. *Whimper* One of my absolute favorite parts... oh God... I won't be able to stand it.

Right. I probably killed everyone by the freakishly longness of this post. And now, bedtime. I've only been up since 4am.

Eeek! the school sounds cool! :) Small classes are great because there's more room for one on one help and all that stuff. Not like having 30+ in highschool classes *cringe*

I'm glad you had a good time!!

Heheh I hadn't known that the ROTK soundtrack was out either until last night. I went to the mall and spotted the one with Aragorn on the cover and nearly died of a heart attack. I ahd to resist as well though, because I'm getting it for my mum for Christmas (to make up for the horridness of the Jack Sparrow/Spanish Rapist portrait... *ahem*)

ak! so many things i want to say right now. but the first is:

the bridge freezes in the winter time. the bridge freezes in the winter time!

yay!!! i'm so happy you had such a great time. i really do wish i could've been there. sounds like i missed out on a lot. especially a chance for stalking hehe. thaat's so great. i would've been running around the food court searching him out.

that campus looks so nice. but we'll be so far away from each other!! :( ah, well..that's life.

i didn't know aunt joyce and uncle phil had their house done! was the basement finished? looks really nice, by the way.

and your mom's hair is longer than mine now!! crazy! hehe. i'm so glad she's alright now. that's a wonderful thing.

anyway..i love you! i hope maybe over christmas we can get together or something. i miss you sooo much! *muah!*

Yeah, I've always gone to a school with small classes so it would be nice to keep to the same.

AHAHA, I know! I was just walking around and I saw Merreh and Pip standing there on the CD case and I was like, "O.M.G. *Coniption*" And then I looked around to see if anyone saw my freak out. Ahahah.

I musht see the portrait of Jack Sparrow, my friend, when you are finished. And I am sure that it does not look like a Spanish rapist. Though, wouldn't it be funny if that guy who called you showed up to your house and looked exactly like your drawing...? ;D

the bridge freezes in the winter time. the bridge freezes in the winter time!

Heee. The very fist time we went past one of those signs, Erin and I looked at each other and both started singing it. Ahahah!

especially a chance for stalking hehe. thaat's so great. i would've been running around the food court searching him out.

Ahahha, I know! We should have taken a picture of the guy when we had a chance.

that campus looks so nice. but we'll be so far away from each other!! :( ah, well..that's life.

Yeah, I know. That's the sucky thing. But, hey, I think during Spring break or something I'll drive up to see you or you could drive down and see me. That would be fantastic.

Nope, basement isn't finished yet, but it lookes completely different down there. They squared off different rooms and instead of having a bedroom on the far side they're going to make it an entertainment center. Heh.

and your mom's hair is longer than mine now!! crazy! hehe. i'm so glad she's alright now. that's a wonderful thing.

Ahahha! Yeah! That's right, I forgot, you haven't seen it cut and highlighted. I love it. She looks fantastic. I told her she should dye it dark red and spike it a bit. :D

I miss you sooo bad, man. Yeah, maybe you can come over during Christmas break. That would be fantastic. <3
