SOOOooo I've been awake since 4am and I had one, ONE shot of espresso at 7am this morning and I'm still slightly buzzed. This is why I don't drink caffeine. Let's not even TALK about iced coffee (which has way WAY more caffeine than espresso - fun fact!); I'm sure even if I drank a 12oz size I'd be in the hospital for possible heart attack.

ANYWAY. I kind of want to do this meme-age thing.

You know how sometimes people on your friends list post about stuff going on in their life, and all of a sudden you think "Wait a minute? Since when were they working THERE? Since when were they dating HIM/HER? Since when???" And then you wonder how you could have missed all that seemingly pretty standard information, but somehow you feel too ashamed to ask for clarification because it seems like info you should already know? It happens to all of us sometimes.

Please copy the topics below, erase my answers and put yours in their place, and then post it in your journal! Please elaborate on the questions that would benefit from elaboration. One-Word-Answers seldom help anyone out. (:

FIRST NAME: Sarah! I've always been rather fond of it.

AGE: 22

LOCATION: Ha ha! This is a trick question. The answer is twofold. Currently, right this second, I live in Orlando, Florida, and have been since June of '08. I live six miles away from the University of Central Florida (and a good half hour from Disney, if you're curious), moving over here so I could finish my senior year of college. When I lived at home I went to the University of South Florida, driving two hours a day back and forth to get to class. I was really really REALLY sick of driving, and thought I should have some life experiences before I up and moved out of state for the first time, so that's why I moved over here.

BUT, in 6 days, I am moving back home, to Dunedin, which is a smaller area right next to Clearwater, which is right on the coastline, directly west of Tampa. Before I moved over here I lived there all the 21 years of my life. It's... home, in the sense that I know where everything is and a lot of people there, but it's definitely not my favorite place. But I don't hate it! Idk. I just kinda wish I grew up somewhere else, sometimes.

OCCUPATION: ALSO A TRICK QUESTION! Again, currently, I'm a barista at Starbucks and have been since September '06. It's honestly a love-hate thing. I hate my pay and I hate some customers, but MAN, there is nothing more satisfying than being on bar, 10 drinks set before you, a line to the door, and being able to quickly and steadily whip out beverages to your morning regulars. I guess it just feels nice to be good at your job, you know? That's what I'm going to miss. That and my awesome morning regulars. But, again, my last day of working at Starbucks is in 5 days. Sad! But yay!

PARTNER: Never have I ever. Baww.

KIDS: Ummm. Does my cat count?

BROTHERS/SISTERS: Only one younger sister, Erin, who just turned 19 not too long ago. Sad to say, we've actually got along a lot better when I moved away. We are two very different people with pretty different interests. I still love her to bits and pieces, though, obviously. She just started college, originally wanting to go into nursing/ob/gyn, but now is thinking about counseling. I'd be extremely proud of her if she did either.

PETS: MY BB PERCY. You will never meet a more lovable, sweet, soft, fluffy, cuter than ANYTHING EVER kind of cat. Also, he's fat. Also also, I will have to say goodbye to him when I move back home. :((((

3-5 THINGS GOING ON IN MY LIFE:

1. Preparing to move home
2. Getting everything in order to graduate college on the 18th
3. Thinking about traveling to places every single day of my life
4. Supernatural and every single thing related to it times eleventy billion. Seriously. Like, no. Seriously.
5. Job hunting. Bleeehhh.

PARENTS: My parents are the awesomest awesomes that ever awesomed. We have a great relationship, which I could never be more thankful for. It's one of the main reasons it made it so hard to move away.

My dad is so amazing. He built our house, like, built it, from the ground up, can do drywall, tiling, plumbing, electrical work, woodworking (3 out of 4 pieces of furniture in my room are built by him), and basically any kind of home repair imaginable. He worked as an electrician for the City for 30 years and retired about two years ago. He then got a job as an electrician with the County, but was laid off 2 months ago, but that's okay. He hated that job anyway. He's fallen off ladders on numerous occasions, had one major back surgery (which included a spinal tap) and one minor one, and a knee surgery. Despite all this, he is a major softie and yeah, I'm a Daddy's girl.

My mom is the strongest, most beautiful, most generous person I know. She's been working for Verizon (previously GTE) for almost 30 years now. At the end of '03 (my sophomore year of high school) my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. She went through rigorous chemo and radiation into '04 and that was just... such a weird, weird time for all of us. I mean, my mom, you know, invincible mom was really sick there for a while. Looking back it seems so surreal. But she beat it, and hit her five year remission not too long ago. YAY I love my mom. God I can't wait to eat her cooking again.

CLOSE FRIENDS:

WELL, I went to a private school pretty much my entire life. My graduating class? 13 people total. We all grew up together and still remain really good friends. But other than that?

[livejournal.com profile] adesso and [livejournal.com profile] distantechoes, my now-roommate and former roommate. Aka, the inspiration to move to Orlando! I don't think I can even count how many times we laughed ourselves sick over internet shenanigans together. The day Breaking Dawn was released? Holy shit. That was a beautiful day. They are both so awesome and supportive and HILARIOUS and beautiful people. ILU GUYS. ;_;

I hate [livejournal.com profile] idril_telrunya. LOL JK JK. We met waaaay back in the LotR fandom (I was 15 and all young and naive and AWW), and when we got her into Supernatural our relationship ~*bloomed*~. Now we talk to each other on the phone at least 3 times a week, 1-2 hours at a time. I'm moving out west to be with her in a couple months!! She is the big sister I never had and makes me laugh so so so damn hard and nothing makes me happier than to think of the roadtrips we've taken and YAY CHRISSY ILU!!

I also have a deep love for [livejournal.com profile] flusteredspeech and [livejournal.com profile] spazzbot, my other two roadtrip buddies. Put all of us in a room together and the result is pure ridiculousness. I MISS YOU GUYYYYS. And [livejournal.com profile] whispered_theme, who I hope to meet VERY SOON, 'cause I love her to utter bits and pieces. And [livejournal.com profile] falterfrei and [livejournal.com profile] magikalrhiannon and [livejournal.com profile] stargazertook for being awesome awesome ladies. Seriously, you guys are all why I wish we lived in a big fangirl commune. Life would be immensely more awesome. ♥

So, um, uh, yeah. Lol if you actually read all that and cared!

SO, my roommate, the boy, has finally finished watching every episode of SPN to date. I was really so curious to hear a boy vs girl reaction to this show. He is super super in to the storyline, saying he never gave a crap about angels and demons before, but we spent a good 20 minutes looking up angels on Wikipedia together, haha. He thinks Castiel is a badass. He likes the myth-arc related episodes a lot more. I asked him if he teared up just a LITTLE during 5.10 and he was like, "Um... no? I mean, it was sad, but...." YEAH, WHATEVS. He sent me texts sometimes like, "Oh God razors out of his mouth whyyy" (Halloween episode last season), and "Everytime I pass Dean Rd I think of spn... see what you've done!" Two nights ago he said he watch the last half of season 4 all in one night, and it was like, 5:30 in the morning and he finished Lucifer Rising and was like, "...fffuuuucckk," and HAD to download 5.01 right away, haha! So yes. Boys and Supernatural. There you have it.
