But I doubt it.

Apparently this chick on the TWOP boards got to have DINNER with him (and Daneel) as part of the channel Ten promotion or some such thing, and I just, oh my God.

Post one:

Just got back from dinner. Could not believe it...he was sitting right next to me! 3 hours of delightful dinner conversation...a really, really nice guy. Can't say enough nice things about him. HIs girlfriend was really lovely too, and they seem to have had a great time in Australia.

Two:

I haven't replied because it's been overnight here in Australia.

The dinner had actors from other Warner Brothers shows like Sarah Connor Chronicles, Pushing Daisies, Chuck, but Supernatural was the only show on TEN. I thought the actors would be on one table and everyone else would be on other tables...so I couldn't believe it when we were shown to our table and the place card next to mine said, Jensen Ackles! It does make sense because he was here promoting a TEN show, but also the publicist organising the event knew that I am a huge fan of the show, so I owe her big time.

I did tell him that Supernatural was my favourite show, but I was trying very hard to suppress the inner-fangirl in me. I did mention this site and asked whether he goes on any internet sites about him or the show...he said he used to when the show first started but not so much anymore. He hadn't heard of this site.

We were at a restaurant overlooking Bondi Beach, so the setting was spectacular, and led to us talking about his interest in sharks...which we have alot of here in Australia. The rest of the night went very quickly with just general conversation. He mentioned he hadn't been approached by many fans in Sydney, even though people did seem to recognise him. He also said that he basically shaved his head when the show stopped production, and has now just grown back to its normal length. I said to him...so if the strike had been resolved in 2 weeks then Dean would have been wearing alot of hats? He said either that or Dean going to hell makes him shave his head.

I've mentioned before that the hubby and I have been fortunate enough to meet alot of visiting actors over the years...some nice...some not so nice...but meeting Jensen was a real thrill for me. And the fact that he is such a lovely guy made the dinner even more memorable.

And three:

He and Daneel went swimming at Manly beach, and he said they had a great time. I don't think he was approached by anyone while there, but there were a few stares from people. He said that when he's in a new city he likes to get out and explore it...the restaurants, the food, the sights, the people etc.

He is a charming, well-spoken, well-travelled and educated guy with a great sense of humour. Appreciates nice food and a nice wine, and loves to cook.

I asked him if he was going anywhere else in Australia before heading back, and he said no because "I've got to get back to work to make you some more episodes of Supernatural!".

As I said before...can't say enough nice things about him...a real sweetie!

Okay, he just um. Cooking?? I CANNOT DEAL, YOU GUYS. I. JUST. CANNOT. And aughf, I'm really happy that he's still with Daneel, that he seems to really like her, that's just so fantastic, AW. WHY, WHY IS IT SO HARD TO FIND A GUY LIKE THIS AROUND. I WEEP.

And yet one more interview!

But seriously, um, guys, I'm afraid if he keeps this up I may turn into a shrieking tweeny boyband-like girl fanatic, I don't even know.
