Oct. 31st, 2010 04:13 pmMeh, Halloween. The only times I was ever really into this holiday was when I was living in Orlando, because everyone had their own place and we could actually have a fun costume party without intruding on anyone else's families/people they lived with. Now that I'm back home, where none of my friends really have places to solely call their own (because we are just that awesome), there's not much to do. And I'm of the minority, in that I really have no desire to go to someone's house who I don't know at all and watch everyone get stupid drunk, especially when I have to get up early the next morning anyway. Not my idea of a good time.
Also that the highs STILL have not gotten out of the 85 to 90 degree range really really isn't helping, and it makes me want to smash lamps.
INSTEAD, I am looking forward to tomorrow, because do you know what happens tomorrow? COMIC CON TICKETS GO ON SALE, THAT'S WHAT HAPPENS TOMORROW. Basically I will run home like my tush is on fire during my lunch hour and order the four day ticket pack like a boss. Thank God they go on sale 9am pacific time.
Who else is going to Comic Con? I know there was actually quite a few people who said they were, so you should tell me even if you are vaguely considering it, so I can totally talk you into going because omg omg it is so much fun. I want to exchange plans and have meetups and completely and totally NERD OUT the entire time.
My tentative plans are thus: By July 2011 I should be living in Salt Lake City with my bff
idril_telrunya. YAY! We will probably roadtrip from Salt Lake to San Diego and get a hotel that is very near the Qualcomm stadium, so we can easily get to the trolley that goes from said stadium to the convention center. Nerding out and seeing awesome famous people who will probably also be nerding out shall then commence.
And because I have blonde hair and boobs, I will buying a Merlotte's t-shirt, shorts, tennis shoes, and an apron, and I'm totally going the entire time as Sookie Stackhouse. :DDDD
