Sep. 6th, 2008 04:28 pmSo, HNNG, I'm kind of carusing around Craigslist for jobs, not seriously yet, really, just looking. It didn't occur to me until just now to check in the writing/editing section and, okay, I just stumbled across this.
I MEAN, OKAY. I am not a world class traveler or anything, not like SOME people (coughKATEcough), but God, I LOVE to travel, I'm pretty sure my camera takes some spectacular pictures, and well, hello, writing. It's kind of a part of my degree. Plus, you know, being published. I mean, I'm not saying I'm well qualified for the job, or that I would even get my hopes up of GETTING specifically this job, but anything like this? Just as a kind of side job while I finish up my degree and continue working where I'm at or whatever? That would be kind of amazing. I don't even know what they're looking for... all my resume would say on it is a data entry/office job for two and a half years and Starbucks for two years. Plus being an english major. Kind of underqualified by a lot. But just, I dunno, the IDEA of it, of actually getting a job that would be related to my major...!!! Not to even mention that something like this would give me more of a reason to take the little roadtrips we were planning, like to Savannah, Georgia and St. Augustine and the dry caves around Florida. I'm really honestly terrified to jump into ANYTHING, but maybe I should just DO IT and see what happens. I guess it couldn't hurt.
Cleaning the bathroom is still GROSS. I don't recommend it.
OH, and happy (only slightly omg!) belated birthday to my Char-est! Hope it was swell, babe, and omg, I miss you! ♥!!
