"You know what really grinds my gears?"
Feb. 11th, 2006 02:15 amSilver linings, and lemons to lemonade, and etc.
THAT'S ME, I DO THAT.
I wanted to have a nice dinner friends and stuff, so I called to make a reservation at a nice-ish restaurant, but they were booked, okay, fine, I move on the other one and get a reservation no problem. So Vicky, Jimmy, Erin and I get to the restaurant and we're like, wow, this is kind of more fancy than we reckoned. We sit down and look at the menues, ahaha holy crap, it's like, stuff I can't even pronounce. Veal a la vous chez parfait y tu tambien and whatnot, and really expensive. I felt so horrible because I had no idea, and we were starving and didn't know what to do.
So... we ate some bread. Drank some water. And then left a little tip on the table and ran for it, ahhaha. And then we ate Chinese at the food court AHAHAHAH. So fantastic.
And then we went to Jimmy's place where he showed us [Katamari Damacy], which someone had to seriously be on buckets of crack when they thought that up. BUT IT'S SO ADDICTING. Oh, the Japanity! The Engrish was also hilarious, ahaha.
I ripped a few of Jimmy's CDs. Gwen Stefani's "Love Angel Music Baby" (I can't believe I don't have that yet, ha), a Britney Spears album (I kind of like it. I'M SORRY OKAY? I like to dance), Gorillaz "Demon Days", and a British band called Embrace, who are really very good. I gave him my collection of 65daysofstatic and a few Godspeed You! Black Emperor songs, because I'm awesome and generous. Or something.
It's bloody freezing here. Like, 40 degrees. Good Lord. I LOVE IT.
