That was nice. Do it again.
Feb. 1st, 2004 05:54 pmAhahahaaaa, yay.
Well that was fun. Heee.
You must understand this: rarely do I ever feel pretty/hot/skinny etc. I just don't and that's the way I am. However after Evangelia got the makeup on me, and my hair was all done and my dress was on...
Wow. Never thought the day would come, but I thought I looked damn good.
We left and got to the school. Catie, Melissa, and Haley were already there, and when we walked in squees and exclaimations of each others hotness abounded. We talked and took a ton of pictures and waited for a good long while, just watching other people come in. All week Lance told us that he got a date from CCC and he was bringing her. He walked in with an inflatable doll. Ahahahaha. I did get a picture of that. Ehehe.
So around 7:00 we start eating (food catered in from Olive Garden alksdja;lksjd). Me, Evangelia, Kristen, Justin, Danny, and Haley sat at one table. We talked, laughed, had a good time, etc. Got loads of pictures.
They then announced Homecoming court, Justin and Jayme being the winners, ANYWAY. Kareoke (or however the heck you spell it)!! AHAHA. Me, Evangelia, Haley, and Kristen went up first and sang "The Sound of Music". AHhahHAHhahHA. We have this thing, ever since we saw that as a play at a local college. With that song, we would always sing it off key and after the line where she sings, "The hills are alive with the sound of music" we'd scream so very loud. So we did that. With microphones. In front of everyone. AHAHAHAH. Oh my gosh. That was so funneh. Evangelia and Kristen then sang "I will survive". Lance, Steve, Mark, Jaime, Justin and a few others sang "Man, I'm a woman." Eheheh. And then me, Mark, Jaime, Catie, Evangelia and a bunch of other people sang "Bohemian Rhapsody" which was absolutely hilarious.
Haley, Mark, Jimmy, Danny and I all left not long after that to go see Big Fish. Gah! That was such a good movie. I love Tim Burton, man. And it must have taken Ewan McGregor a lot of work to get that accent that he had. Such a good movie. First time in almost two months I've seen something different in the theater. Heh. Oh, also saw a preview for Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, yo. And they had ELO's "Mr. Blue Sky" in it! I was dancing in my seat and singing along. Heheh. Good stuff.
Got home at 1:00, in bed by 2:00. Up for church at 8:30. Geh. I'm a bit tired. And sick, still. It's now added shakiness and dizziness to itself. Hurrah.
Dropped my camera off a little earlier, and I'll have it on Tuesday. I can't wait to see how the pictures turned out. Hee. I also dropped off an application at CVS. We'll see how that goes.
If I'm going to watch the Superbowl, all I'm going to watch it for is the commercials. Heh, earlier during lunch we popped in the DVD of the Bucs Superbowl season. Got me all excited and then I remembered that it was just a DVD. Aww. I really hope they get there next year. Er, this year? Yeah. Heh.
