So, okay. Last week I went to UCF personally to talk to an advisor about being accepted in, seeing as how I was rejected earlier because of budget cuts and nothing more. I sent in a second application for the fall of '08, but the advisor told me that it doesn't really work like that: you send another application for the next available semester, so my second application was basically glanced over and thrown into my file to collect dust. Well, fine. I asked if I could still write a letter to the Appeals Committee to overturn the decision, but he said because of the fact that they're rejecting so many people the percentage of having that decision overturned was pretty darn slim.

So.

I guess I'll go ahead and write a letter, but for the mean time I've figured out this plan. In order to graduate from UCF, I have to take 30 credit hours at that school. Currently, I have 37 more credits until I graduate. SO CLOSE AND YET SO FAR. But, okay. Since I'm can't get in to UCF yet, I'm gonna stick with USF, just taking online courses AND being a full time student (because I NEED my mom's health insurance, and in order to do that, I need to be a full time student). So, four online classes this fall at USF, which I already have lined up and ready to go. Of course, that would bring my total credits left to graduate down to 25, but it's not like once you hit 120 credits a college is going to kick you out. You can take as many credits as you want and then graduate. So even though I only NEED 25, I'll take however many to reach thirty at UCF to graduate. This would mean, 12 credits this fall (7 of which will count towards the 30), 12 credits this spring, and 4 in the summer, if I can squeeze it. Somewhere in there 2 classes will count as 8 credits, as they'll be language classes, so. I THINK IT MIGHT WORK. If for some reason I can't finish next summer, it'll be next fall. ANYWAY, I'M SO HAPPY. The moving out west might have to be put on hold for a few months, but at least I'll be GRADUAMATED!!

Haha I totally just watched Aristocats with some of my roommates' friends. AWW DISNEY MOVIES. I haven't watched them in forever. I think we'll do a marathon. Also, I made this AMAZING concoction of coke, vanilla ice cream, Kahlua, Irish creme, and butterscotch schnapps. Soooo good.

Alasjdfl tomorrow morning I go in at 8am for my training session at the new Starbucks. I'm SO EXCITED to be working again, and I'm not nervous about the WORK (because I'm kind of amazing at my job, if I do say so myself), but I'm nervous about how well I'm gonna be accepted, ack. I really hope everything goes well.

Spring 09 at UCF can be 4+3+3+3=13 credits with a language class, then Summer only needs 3+3+3=9 credits to be full-time (I think), because Fall 09 you'll still need 4+3+3=10 to have 30 credit hours residency (13+9+10=32).
Fall 09 with 3 classes will mean part-time, but you can always take a filler elective to bump it up.

That should allow you full-time status every semester and bring you to the 30 credit mark in time to graduate December 09! :D

OMG! Me and Katie watched Aladdin the other night! LOL We made a list of Disney movies I haven't seen in awhile(Katie's a big Disney buff, so she watches them a lot), and we're going to watch them all. :D

Haha, yes, it's STUPIDLY confusing, I don't know why they like to make it that way. SIGH. But yay, graduating! It's so close I can taste it!

You should write an appeal anyways, really. You have nothing to lose, right?
