Florida Screening:

We are delighted to announce that the East Coast premiere of Ten Inch Hero will be at the Florida ART Film Festival in Gainesville, Florida. The screening will be the opening night event, on Friday Feb 1. David and Mark will both be there--they'll host a Q&A session after the film.

We will post more info next week.

All I can find for this thing is a MySpace *shudder*, so I can't figure out if it's a ticketed event. It's at the Acrosstown, though, which is kinda small. So if you find out that tickets must be bought, I can make a stealth run for you.

Well, I may be wrong, but I think the movie is only playing opening night anyway, so I'd just do the day pass thing, since I'd most likely just drive home that night after the premiere.

I'm hoping yes. I don't have a car, so I'm going to see if I can convince a friend of mine to go. I have a little while to convince her to drive from Ft. Lauderdale to Tampa to Gainesville though, so hopefully. Especially since it's not expensive. If I miss it, I will cry. Probably quite literally cry lol.

Speaking of roadtrips ...

Um, I'm pricing flights to Orlando for Eyecon, and it's cheaper if I fly in to arrive Thursday evening, but the downside is then hotel fee for that night, which I would totally do if I was not alone. Should I just fly in Friday evening (when it all starts omg, I'll smell like airplane eww!) or do you know if anyone is planning on being there Thursday too or, you know, hitchhike to your house and spend the night in your car? ;p Advice?

EEEEE OMG. Hmm hmmm. Man, I wish SO MUCH that I lived by myself in an apartment, sigh. When Chrissy said she was coming I told her she should just fly into Tampa on Thursday and I'd pick her up and she's spend the night at my house, and then we'd drive over to Orlando on Friday. And, well, as much as I love y'all, my room is not big enough to hold three of you (if Kate's coming too, that is, hee), sooo. Maybe it WOULD just be better to have all y'all fly into Orlando on Thursday, 'cause I can pick you up anyway, and then we'd have that extra day to hang around and laugh ourselves sick, ahaha! I'll check with Chrissy and see what she thinks, but I'm thinkin' most likely that flying into Orlando Thursday would be it. HOLY CRAP DOR I'M SO EXCITED I'M GONNA DIE.

OMG YES LET'S HAVE THAT EXTRA DAY to hang around and laugh ourselves sick, because that is so good times! K, then I'll just wait to see what everyone decides whilst at the same time keeping an eye on the ticket prices in case they change. OMG LET ME KNOW!!!!!! *hyperventilates*
