One: cut a hole in the box.

Today? 85 degrees. I am honest to God thisclose to start going on a freaking murderous rampage.

So, hey! Looking in to colleges in North Carolina. Except, I have no idea where to begin, other than going, "Uhm, duh, uhm, THIS ONE MAYBE?" Seriously, how am I supposed to know which college is better than another, other than basing it completely on admission costs (student loans HERE I COME)? And then there are pictures, which kind of put me off my freaking rocker, a la this and this of the Appalachian State University branch of UNC. Hurts. Hurts real bad.

So no cold weather = turning down our AC and finally catching up on the last two episodes of House. AH MAH GAH. Kind of amazing. My new OTP is quite possible Wilson/Cuddy??? Also WILSON is like a puppy being repeatedly kicked and it kind of breaks my heart, and CHASE why do you have to be so gorgeous? I almost called House out for being an emo kid for cutting himself (did anyone else think of Legally Blonde during the "endorphins" speech?), but he looked so pitiful that I... yeah. Tritter is obsessed, and a bastard, and I want to choke him, but he played the dad on Contact and I love Contact, SO. Hiatuses a good month do not make.

Also, I can't stop singing this in my head. AAAH HILARIOUS. JUSTIN WHY DID YOU HAVE TO BRING SEXY BACK. I secretly lust. Like. A lot. :(

And finally, thank you [livejournal.com profile] troublecreek and [livejournal.com profile] stepliana for the cards! :D

Weee, no way! I am actually really starting to consider ASU, so thank you! Do you know if any of the schools specialize in the department of English? Omg this is so excitiiiing.

the only ones of which i'm certain are UNC Chapel Hill, which offers a special scholarship (i think just for undergrads, though, sorry) called the "thomas woolfe," in which a young writer receives a full ride because he or she is an outstanding writer. Duke, similarly, has an incredible English program.

Davidson, which I mentioned earlier, has an English specialty, an eight to one student-teacher ratio (i think) and in my opinion is the most beautiful.

(omg we are college shopping TOGETHAR.)
