I finally, finally finished my Lit exam. Yessss. Now all's left is two exams next week and I'm home free.
I left my Gerentology class early and went over to Mark's place, which I haven't done in a while. We went to lunch at Chili's and then Mark and I split a Margerita cheesecake (AMAZING) and he paid for it, aww. It's like having a boyfriend, who really, you know, isn't. But it was nice.
It was my final creative writing class today too, which is really sad, because that has been and probably will be my favorite class and professor. We had written very short stories in journals all semester, and I got mine back today. On the very last entry she put, "Fantastic job. You've got a knack for this. I hope you take more classes," which makes me kind of wibbly and happy. She spoke today about publishing and getting published and it made my stomach knot with excitement and anticipation, and now I just know and feel that this is what I should do. It's a glorious feeling, really.
Happy birthday to my dad today. He can fix anything, you know.
