Something else; I was reading Sir Ian's update at his site and he says this: The sun was out, the wind was up and we made good speed till the green screen (trying perhaps to emulate a kite) slid gracefully to the ground. We abandoned that scene and went to a Rohan party with Pippin and Merry doing a jig on a table-top.

HOY! I cannae get enough of my hobbitz dancing, you know. Yaay!

Er, he might have meant 'green screen' literally dear. It doesn't really matter if it's a blue screen or a green screen - they're both used in digital effects and the like.
