GIP, ladies and gentlemen.

I woke up at 12:00 today. Whooaa. I never do that. That's the latest I think I've ever slept in. Heh. It was raining and thundering and Erin was already up and watching the weather. There were some tornado warnings for Manatee county. Eek. Scary. But that's a bit of a ways south from us.

Got an ortho appointment today. Please dear God, let them set up an appointment to get my braces off. Two years and a month has been such a long time.

*Sigh* Maybe I shouldn't have entered in in that debate on Writer's Block. I think I'm in way over my head. I'm only friggen 16... I don't know that much. I'm really getting tested here...

Oh my gosh, there was some craziness going on in the War with Iraq forum. Idril and me opened up a can on their candy asses, I can tell you that. Though it was directed in a mature fashion, unlike them, heh.

Ugh, I feel in over my head too. And I would cling... but we're kind of on opposing sides on some issues. :-p

Though we would have a bit of trouble if we were getting married, or something. Hey, I'm just sayin'. *Wink*

Hmm. Braces. Both my sisters have them. Check that. One of them has them, one of them used to have them. They said my teeth are beyond braces help and if I want to straighten my jaws out, I need oral surgery. Yeah right. I like them crooked. The gap between my teeth is nice too.

He-he. Gap between my front teeth like Elijah's and monkey ears like Dom. How strange.

I had a gap between my teeth just like Elijahs! Then the otho went right on in and tore away the skin in between and now I'm spaceless. Not sure how to feel about that.

Aww, heheh! You must be one adorable little thing, then, you know that? Meh. Braces suck unmentionable things. I'd say you're fine as you are; all you'll do is add pain on top of everthing, heh.

Whew. Just went and checked it out. Friendly debates are great. Dark...hun, your doing great! Your opinion is your own and as long as you aren't offensive and closed-minded (which you aren't) all is well. I'd reply in the post but I don't have the energy. Let's just say I adore slash, but am in no way homosexual myself...and I completely understand where you are coming from. Hell. I was raise Catholic.

Anywho. My only advice is, other than that of not being offensive and closed minded, don't let others make your opinions for you. Parents, peers, people on WB. You have plenty of time to figure it out on yer own.

Thanks, babe. Yah, I guess I will have plenty of time to figure it out... it just seems now is the time in my life where I form the basis of my beliefs.

I used to think so too. At 16 I formed new believes...or changed some. Now, two years later, my beliefs have changed.

What I've learned?

There is no one time to form beliefs. The time is always. You go out into the world and experience it. You read and write and talk to new people and listen. Things you'll hear will change your mind constantly. You just always got to be open and aware that not everything read or heard is correct, in general or for you.

I try and constantly be learning. I do this through talking to people and reading about numerous things. I was brought up catholic and for a long time was very religious. Now I am undecided. I know I am not catholic, and pretty sure I am not christian at all. I don't know what I believe, and I am fine with that. It'll come with time, whenever that may be.

My point it. It is not important to know all the answers, but know the right questions and never stop asking.

...hehe. I just went all...philisophical (of sorts) on you. Sorry there. I just love the constant learning and discovery of life! *grin* Hope I didn't bore ya.

Yah, that's very true, I suppose. Once you step out into the world there's so much that could influence you. Especially at college.

Yeah I had braces for a total of yes, count them, five years. So I know and feel your pain. But think of how pretty your teeth will be when you are done. I always get compliments on my teeth so its worth it in the long run! :D

And as for the debate. You are doing fantastically well. Truely. We aren't trying to change your mind. Well a little we are *wink* but you are holding your own very well. But yes you are still young. Most of us have years of life experience that help with our decisions. The only thing we can ask for is that you keep an open mind in the debates and you have, so seriously you are doing fine! And actually I was looking at them today and went hmmm we are just kinda harping on darksun...but really thats only because you are the only one with a different opinion.lol You are the only one who putting up the debate lol you know what though?

Naw, the harping on is something I should probably start getting used to. When I go to college (especially a decisivly liberal one) I'm going to need to know my stuff, know facts, and how to debate it. I'm just practicing here. :D
