Well. For my first day, my driving class was long, boring and lonely. Out of us 60 there was only 13 (including me) that hadn't got our permits yet. So we went in the classroom. I had to friggen do the Drug and Alchohol test over again just because I didn't bring my certificate with me. *Sigh* Oh well. The rest of that time we watched depressing, boring, grueling videos on drunk driving and how they kill people. Yes, I know that it does. No, I don't need to watch depressing videos on it. Sheesh. The whole time I sat by the wall (so I could lean agaist it, heh) by myself and didn't talk to anyone. Somewhat out of my own free will but whatever. And tomorrow... *gulp*... we're driving. Now, there's I think 8 cars and 60 of us there. He said he'd be splitting us up into 2 groups of 30. Common sense tells me that there will be people not only watching me drive because there's 4 cars for both groups, but people inside the car while I drive plus the instructor. I am this close to having a break down. If I screw up in front of all those people? Oh dear God.
Well, today I went out driving today but it was in our minivan. Minivan! Ha! And in all sincerity I think I did better in it than Oma's car. I perfected my turning into a parking space (shut up, it's my second time driving). I had them lined up perfectly in some instances. Very happy indeed. That's all I've done at this point... haven't driven on a road yet. I might tomorrow. Hm.
In good news! I finally got my permit this afternoon! Boo-yah! And I must say, for a permit picture, it looks pretty good. Yay, happiness.

katiejo is a goddess. No, I'm serious. I mean, she plucked these pictures right out of the air. I was literally falling out of my chair with a couple of these.
Eh-eh-eh.
My gosh, does he look good with scruff. Wow.
And I lurve this one. I swear, it's his "come hither" look. Gah. And the best part? Magical Chest Hair galore! *Dies*
And I'm still pissed about getting up at 6:15 in the morning during summer. Blah.

I just know you'll be a great driver. Don't worry too much. Just relax, and it's not so tricky. (Unless your driving my dad's million year old dented Jeep that's a stick and tries to pull into reverse at every opportunity it has. That's extreme driving.)
And *gasp* you call your grandparents Oma and Opa? So do I! More freaky quirks, coming right up!

Dude. Oh my gosh, you are so kidding me. Yeah, I call my grandma's Oma (don't have any grandad's... they both died before I was born)! Since my Oma Heckman is from Holland that's what I've called both of them ever since I was born. Too friggen weird!
