Woo! Just got back from seeing the Matrix! It's my first rated R movie in the theatre I might add. It kicked major booty. The whole friggen scene with Neo and the buttload of Mr. Smith's was awesome. Persephone is hot, man. Latex suit and all. The Keymaker... dude! He was cool. AND THEN NEO FRIGGEN KILLED THOSE THINGS WHEN HE WASN'T IN THE MATRIX! Oh hoot! That just absolutely made my night. And he's in a coma now, just because of that! Wow. "No, wait... it's different. I can feel them." GUH. Awesome. The twins rocked. Oh man. I gotta see it again. Hopefully with my mum sometime this week or next.
On the contrary to what most people said, I really didn't think the special effects overpowered the screenplay. I thought they fitted in quite nice. And as for the slow parts? They weren't even slow. The reason why there had to be no action in those sequences was because they were explaining things. When the "programmer" of the Matrix was talking to Neo at the end... whoa. Under that deep phycological, fifty dollar word discussion I actually understood it. It was hard to keep up with. But I got it. Which was cool. And I actually laughed a lot. Mostly out of "Holy crap! That was so friggen cool!" The other times I was biting my nail in suspense and hiding behind Haley. Ah. Lovely.
Wee! I found something that's like Photoshop in my house... it's called PhotoMAX Pro and I've already made a few things with it. Working on my banner now. *Glee*
